I'm the king of the... tractor!
It's a corn box!
This kid can't get enough petting zoos and being able to feed animals.
"Get out of the way, people! They finally let me behind the wheel of one of these things!!"
Grandma and Grandpa were nice enough to come with us. Things are more fun with family!
Hideous self portrait.
"I'm the king of the... hay pyramid."
We have never been to Cornbellys, but have heard so much about it, so we bought some tickets and stopped for dinner on our way there. While at dinner, Ari and I were heading to the bathroom when Ari tripped and smacked the bridge of her nose right on the bottom bar of a high chair. Immediately she screamed (that "something is seriously wrong" scream that every mother dreads), and when I picked her up and looked at her face, it looked like this:
Seriously, guys, I almost threw up. I flipped. I grabbed my purse and told Ryan we had to leave. She stopped crying pretty quickly, but when I got her in the car seat, she started crying because we'd left the restaurant without getting her sucker. Glad she has her priorities straight.
Lucky for us, our pediatrician stays open until 7 and they were 5 minutes away, so we headed there pronto. Of course, we didn't have an appointment, but when they saw her face, they got us right in. The doctor assured us that she was fine. Ari was all excited to be at the doctors office, but was very concerned when we started talking about not going to Cornbellys. Since she seemed to be okay, we decided not to make her night any worse and to go for it.
Cornbellys!! As we were walking to the ticket booth, Aria was skipping and shouting, "I'm so excited! Yay! Yippee!" Obviously she is way tougher than I am, because if I had the same injury, I'd be home in bed, milking it for all it's worth.
This girl loves corn boxes.
Cow train! She kept saying, "Giddy up, cow!"
Today, we got to go to an awesome Halloween party hosted by my fabulous friend, Autumn. There were all kinds of activities like cookie decorating, coloring, pumpkin bowling, a pinata, and the donut game, to name a few. Ari was in heaven! I wasn't very good at taking pictures, but she looks super cute in her witch costume. I need to put a tie or an elastic on her witch hat so it will stay on.
She even got a mask!! I was all excited to get a picture of her with her Frankenstein mask on while standing with Frank (the big blow up Frankenstein) in grandma and grandpa's yard, but she traded it in for a ghost mask.
After the party, Ryan decided to take Aria on a quick motorcycle ride. She loves the motorcycle! I am tempted to have her wear this helmet all the time to prevent more scary third eyes.
That's what we've been up to. Hopefully Ari's head will heal quickly. I get so sad when I look at her right now. It has gone down a ton, but it's going all purple. In the car today, she started pushing on her owie and said, "My owie is squishy. Wanna pet it?" Silly girl. She is such a joy, and I am so super proud to be her momma. I will leave you with some pre-injury pics of Ari showing me her bread moustache and bread beard. Man, I love this girl.
