We sure love Halloween time! Here are pics of the fun we've been having:
We did a lot of Cornbelly's this year since we got the pass.
Grandma and Grandpa came one night, so obviously Ari wanted to ride the cow train with Grandma.

The kids got to mine and sift through bags of sand for cool rocks, fossils, and gems.
She was much more comfortable on the bouncy thing this year. She LOVED it!
A good chunk of our time was always spent at corn beach. She LOVED it!

She really enjoyed the huge green tractor. She did not, however, enjoy me constantly taking pictures.
We went to the aquarium where they had a scuba diver in a skeleton costume hold up the picture for a pirate story that they read. They were supposed to feed the sharks, but just fed the little fishies instead.
We had our annual Halloween Party at Grandma and Grandpas. It's always so much fun, and Aria looks forward to it all month. They always have a hunt for treats and toys, which the kids love. We also carved pumpkins, decorated cupcakes, and played matching where you got to pop a balloon that had a treat inside when you got a match. It was fun to have all the kids together again. They sure enjoy each other.
Ari was SO excited to be a police officer. She says she wants to be one when she grows up so she can help people. :)

Ari had her preschool Halloween party and program. I was able to have work off so I could go and even help with an activity for the party. I was so proud of how well behaved Ari was while I was there. Hopefully she's that way all the time. :)
Halloween night was SO much fun. Ari was BEYOND excited to go trick or treating. She didn't even take a nap, she was so excited. We decided to go to Mark and Dawn's neighborhood because our's had a bunch of space between houses or people leave, so there are a lot of dark ones. Plus it is usually about 8 degrees cooler off the hill, which is always nice when trick or treating. Aria was bouncing off the walls while we were getting her dressed to go, and literally RAN from house to house. For the first few houses she had to stop and show us what she got. "I got a GREEN one!! I got a RED one!" We had to keep getting on her to remember to say thank you because she was so excited about the candy. She got so that when she forgot, she'd run back to the people, and push past the other kids to make sure they knew she said thank you. We got a lot of cool comments about her awesome police officer costume, too. She had soooo much fun- Ryan and I were laughing at her the entire time we were out. It's amazing how much more fun holidays are with kids. Once we got back to grandma and grandpas, she had fun passing out candy. Locke was there too, but grandma was nice enough to watch him while we took Ari trick or treating. It was such a fun day. We even listed to Thriller, and then sang some old school Michael Jackson songs on the way home. Perfect end to a fun day!

Look how red her cheeks are! She really did run the entire way, and we were out for an hour! She picked an airhead for her first treat.
Today Locke is 4 months old! We are sure glad to have this sweet boy in our home. He's growing like a weed, and is full of smiles. He spits up constantly, so we've started calling him Spew-Man-Du. I realize this name makes no sense, but nick names rarely do. ;) He's been a little fussier the last couple of weeks. We've been on a diet challenge at the gym, and I think he was detoxing, and he doesn't agree with the protein I've been using for my post WOD shakes. :( He is still hit and miss with sleeping through the night, but he does pretty well. Putting him down and naps are never an issue. He has a hilarious giggle (Katie got a really good video of it, but I don't have access to it... :( ) He is starting to be more grabby with things- he grabbed my plate at dinner the other night. The biggest news is that Locke can officially roll! He's gone from his back to his tummy a bunch of times. He still needs to figure out how to roll the other way, though. We sure love the little guy!
This boy is constantly sucking his fingers or thumb. He also loves sucking on his burp rag. Or doing both at the same time. :)
