Moab and family time!

Each year, Ryan's company has a "retreat" of sorts in Moab where all of the employees and their families come down for a weekend of fun. Ryan had to work on Friday morning, so Ari and I went for a run on the parkway, then spent a long time hanging out at the awesome rotary park. When the boys all got off of work, we headed out to do some jeeping. Oh how I love jeeping. Ari even had her first squat and pee in the dirt experience. I think she thought it was a little odd. :) After the trails, we headed in for the traditional dinner at the Brewery, then for some post dinner swimming (because who doesn't want to get in a swimsuit in front of your husbands co-workers after you've eaten your face off???) On Saturday we got to go zip lining, which was AWESOME, and then took the back way to Jim's place up in the La Sal mountains. It was BEAUTIFUL! The BBQ at Jim's was fun, and they even planned a kids activity. They made necklaces and super hero masks. It was a great weekend. We are so lucky that Ryan works for such a great company, and with such great people. It's always fun when we can all get together.

 At the park in Moab
Ari was obsessed with this frog statue (though she kept calling it a lizard).

The jeep after our first run of trails. It had been rainy, and there were LOTS of puddles to plow through. So much fun!

This was the last zip line on the course. Sorry it's a little bumpy and spinny. It's kinda hard to control how you're moving when you aren't holding on and focusing on not dropping your camera. Plus those harnesses aren't always comfortable, if you know what I mean. :)

These were on the back pass up the La Sal mountain. It was so pretty, and so much cooler! I think we should take this route to Jim's place every year!

Quick pit stop at the lake. I can't for the life of me remember what the name of the lake is.

Ari and the girls in their super hero masks. So cute!!

Our new nephew was born while we were in Moab. He is so adorable and we are so happy he's here. Ari is very excited about her new cousin.

Ari and I got to spend some time at the park with cousins that have been visiting for the summer. The kids were all too busy running around to get a decent picture. All I got was this one of Ari and Autumn.
Love these girls!

Life is good. We are lucky to have such great friends and family! I'll leave you with a couple of random pics.
 Ari goin' gangsta' style.

Yoga mats can double as blankets, right? Ari was pretending to go "night night "at the gym.
