Loving and Living Life

I got my hair done last week, and the girl kept asking me what I'd been doing lately, what I was going to be doing afterwards, etc. My responses consisted of going to Lagoon, Cornbelly's, and spending time with my family. Her somewhat sympathetic reaction almost made me ashamed of my not-so-glamourous life (and the fact that it'd been over 6 months since I'd had my hair done), but as I was sitting there, I thought about how I love my life. Is it perfect? Nope, but for the most part, I am living the life that I wanted. I have a family that I love, healthy children that I adore, a job that makes me feel productive and appreciated, a nice home.... the list goes on. I was excited that we got to go to Lagoon! I can't wait to take Ari back to Cornbelly's. Watching my kids learn and grow is freaking awesome. My life may not be glamorous, but it's beautiful in the most significant ways. :)

So here's what's been going on in my wonderfully normal life:

Fall is here, and that means Cornbelly's!! We got a season pass this year. We've already been twice, but didn't get many pictures of the first time because it was SO cold. We made it about 45 minutes before we headed for home. We made sure to dress warm the next time, but it was warm enough that we didn't need to. Typical Utah weather, right?

Love Ari's hair in this one.

The big slide is always a hit.

We went with Katie, Rose, and some of her in-laws. I don't know why I love the hand holding pictures so much, but I do. So deal. ;)

Playing in the corn box with Rose's aunt.

Cow train ride.

Lagoon!! I didn't take as many pictures as I thought, but it's because we were so busy running around with the kids. We were lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa, Tobin and their kids with us. It made it so we could trade off and have some time to ride a couple of grown up rides. :)
Grandma and Grandpa are THE coolest.

I just love the looks on their faces in this one. THIS is why I am cool with going to Lagoon and spending all of my time in kiddie land.

Lachlan is 3 months old! I sure love this big boy. He's already wearing 6 month clothes! Locke is content and happy. He likes to just kick it on the floor, or in his bouncer and play with whatever toy is hanging over him. He has even been sick for the last week or so and has still been pretty happy. He sleeps through the night some of the time, but even when he doesn't he eats quickly and goes right back down. For naps, he usually just passes out wherever you have him when he gets tired. He has discovered his thumb, and will spit out his binky to suck it. He loves to smile and talk, and he's started to giggle. I need to get a video of him giggling- it's this weird, gurgling sound. He likes to smile at his sister, and he has the most beautiful eyes. I feel so blessed to have him in our home. Now for picture overload of Locke.
He can sit in his bumbo for a short amount of time.

 Handsome boy!!
This was as close to a 3 month picture as I got.
 Thumb sucker!!
That smile!

Now for random picture time:

I always take Ari in to give her cleanings, but she hasn't had films and an exam in forever, so I took her in last week. She does so good. She told Michelle that she should name her blue scaler "bluey." Unfortunately, she has a little cavity where she has an open contact and catches food all the time, so she gets to have a filling done next week. She is really bothered that she has a sugar bug, and is excited for Dr. Woodward to get it out of there. :)

Ari decided she wanted her own library card, so we got her one.

Dr. W told us we had to try JCW's, so we did. We start a challenge next week, so this weekend is a "stuff your face" weekend. :)
Playing with the camera taking selfies. We aren't so great at it...

Our annual self taken family portrait. Not so great this year, but oh well.
