It's the month of LOOOOVVVEEE!! I have been feeling especially grateful for all of the love in my life. I love my hubby and my little girl more than words can say. I also love my family, my friends, my hounds (most days), my coworkers, this wonderful warmer weather we've been having, strawberry banana shakes, snuggles..... the list goes on. So- here's an update on what has been going on with my loves!
We've been taking advantage of any sunny or warm days to get out and do some stuff. We went to the zoo a few weeks ago and it was so nice to go when it wasn't so crowded! It was a bit nippy, but Aria ran around like a crazy person all morning, so she was fine.
It isn't a trip to the zoo without a carousel ride.
I am realizing that most of our pictures from the Zoo don't involve live animals....
At first, she insisted on sitting all by herself.
I love this one.
We had a fun Valentines day. It started with my 20 week ultrasound, which went well. I've been much more nervous this time about something being wrong, so it was nice to see that, as least as far as we can tell at this point, our little guy is growing as he should. Ryan and I are still debating names. Boy names are hard! I'm still feeling great, as far as pregnancy stuff goes, and am starting to feel him move around a little more. I am definitely showing much sooner this time around- I'll take a belly shot one of these days. We got our presents the night before because we knew the morning of would be crazy since we had to get up early for my ultrasound. I got a foot massager, perfect for any prego lady. Ari got The Jungle Book, and we both got flowers! Ry got some clothes. :) Ari was also very excited to get some special mail, including a card from Aunt Lila and a puzzle with her name on it from Grandma Sue. We had dinner at Zupas and enjoyed a nice relaxing night, which is good because most of us are either sick or getting over a cold. :)
I promise I do her hair, but by the end of the day it usually looks all crazy.
Aria made this valentine holder at Grandma and Grandpa's house. She loves it! They also exchanged valentines and made yummy little heart cakes. She always has so much fun at their house.
This weekend we have had unseasonably warm weather, which I LOVE!!! It was even warm enough to go the park! If you can't tell by the look on her face, she was in heaven! She kept running on the grass, saying, "It's grass!! I see grass! I love grass!" Spring and summer can't come soon enough.
Our friends just had a baby, and we've been able to watch their daughter for them a bit. She and Ari are besties, so they've been super excited to be able to spend some time together. Ari even got to have her first official sleepover last night, as her friend spent the night. They were running around like maniacs for a while. It was so fun!! They actually slept well (I only had to tell them to be quiet and go to bed once), which I was worried about since they're in the same room on the bunk beds. We love this family, and are so excited for their new arrival!! They just had a beautiful boy, and I'm so excited that our kids can grow up being friends.
She brought some Valentine's masks and necklaces that they both had fun with.
Here are a couple of random pics from Ry's phone:
Like I mentioned, we've been a little sick lately. Ari woke up in the middle of her nap last weekend all grouchy, and fell back asleep in my arms. I don't get much snuggle time like that anymore. Love my girl!!
Abby got in on some dress up time, and is sporting some lovely earrings. Can you tell she loves them?
We went shopping last night and Ari tried on this cute hat.
We also bought the first outfit for our little guy. Ari picked it out. So excited!!!
That's it for now. I'm excited for some fun stuff we have coming up in the next couple of weeks! I'll be sure to blog all about it when it's done. :)
